After looking round the various exhibits, the team was then shown the classic Laurel and Hardy film “Sons of the Desert” Following this film the “Grand Sheik of the Ulverston Birthmarks Tent” was pleased to invest the PGM as a member of the “Sons of the Desert”, and the PGM was pleased to accept. The Provincial Director of Ceremonies is not sure how to announce this new honour when introducing the PGM in future.

Following this very interesting visit the Provincial Team then took the opportunity of visiting Ulverston Masonic Hall. After a quick stop at Stan Laurels birthplace the team then vanished into the desert sunset…… well they got a coach to Lancaster.
